ESE provides civil engineering design services to federal, state, local public agencies, materials producers, developers, and contractors. Projects have included large transportation projects, highways, local streets, land development, commercial and industrial buildings, and airports.

ESE’s principals and engineers have considerable experience in California and northern Nevada. The majority of our design experience has come from public sector projects and our clients include the FHWA, FAA, RTC, Washoe County, Caltrans, NDOT, various local Counties and Cities. Many of our roadway projects have included a complete street design which incorporated pedestrian and bicycle use as well as transit stops.

ESE’s engineers have been involved in all aspects of civil design projects from alternatives analysis, schematic design, and design development to preparing final construction documents and providing bidding assistance for local public works projects. Our engineers have experience providing public outreach, conducting public information meetings, and coordinating with agencies and stakeholder groups to achieve project goals. We have provided economic analysis for design alternatives, estimated construction costs and prepared specifications that define testing and inspection requirements in accordance with agency specifications.

Our design staff has extensive experience with computer aided design and drafting. We currently use AutoCAD version 2010 and Civil 3-D version 2010 for our drafting and design needs. We are also capable of utilizing and producing GIS information within AutoCAD and Civil 3-D.
