ESE to Expand Reno Office

Eastern Sierra Engineering recently purchased the building that has been our home in the Reno area since the summer of 2006. Located at 4515 Towne Drive in South Reno, the expansion will increase the size of the materials testing laboratory, add additional offices for our professional staff and include an enhanced production area. Improvements are scheduled to begin in the winter of 2011 so as not to disrupt our busy testing lab during the construction season. Total area will be over 5,300 s.f.

ESE professionals obtain QSP/QSD qualification

ESE president Gerald Jensen, PE and our professional engineers Debbie Jenkins, Jennifer Roman, and Douglas Brown all recently passed their exams from California Stormwater Quality Association (CASQA) and are now Qualified SWPPP Practioners/Developers. CASQA assists the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) and municipalities throughout the state of California in implementing the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) stormwater mandates of the Federal Clean Water Act.

This certification uniquely enables our employees to offer SWPPP preparation and stormwater monitoring in compliance with California NPDES requirements for our clients.
